I have revoked that power of attorney with immediate effect. Anyone who deals with Harjit Singh, son of Gurdev Singh, Model Town, Amarnagar on its basis after this notice does so at their own risk, and no such act shall bind me.

What to bring
Papers to bring
- A copy of the power of attorney, with its registration details if it was registered
- The revocation deed, if you have made one: see "Revocation of a power of attorney"
- The attorney's full name and address
- Aadhaar card or another photo identity proof (photocopy; the original to show)
Where to go
Published in newspapers that circulate where the property is and where the attorney acts; a copy of the revocation also goes to the attorney by registered post, and to the banks and offices where the power was used.
Fee
The newspaper charges for the space; ask its advertisement office or an agent for today's rate. No stamp paper is needed.
Good to know
- A registered power of attorney is usually cancelled by a registered deed of revocation at the Sub-Registrar's office; this notice alone may not be enough.
- A power given to protect the attorney's own interest in the property may not be revocable at will; ask your lawyer.
- Keep the full newspaper pages, with the paper's name and date, not only the cutting: offices often ask to see them.
Papers and fees can change. Check with the office before you go. Guidance only, not yet reviewed by a lawyer.
Stamp paper
Plain paper is enough.
