Printing
- Margins come out wrong from the computer: in the print dialog set Scale to 100% (not "Fit to page"). Dastavo's Settings › Printer setup prints a calibration page and remembers your printer's offset.
- Text starts in the wrong place on stamp paper: use Printer setup › "Test on plain paper" first, then adjust the stamp offset (default 14 cm for stamp paper, 12 cm for an e-stamp certificate).
Typing
- F2 switches language, F3 switches layout (Asees, Joy, AnmolLipi, Satluj, Kruti Dev 010, DevLys, Chanakya, Remington GAIL, INSCRIPT, phonetic). Hold Ctrl for the layout map.
- Characters look wrong after converting an old file: open the converter's review view; it highlights spots it isn't sure about. Send us a sample (fictional text) and the font name so we can improve the mapping.
Account
- Link a computer: open dastavo.wdlab.app/app/ and scan its QR code from the phone (Settings › Link a computer).
- Delete your account: Settings › Account › Delete account (or on the web). Documents on your phone stay unless you delete them too.
Report a mistake in a template
Every template has "Suggest a change". Suggestions go to the reviewing advocate.
