Respectfully Showeth:

1.That the applicant had produced the following original documents in the above case:

(a)sale deed No. 2345 dated 04-05-2012;

2.That the case has been decided, and the applicant needs the originals because they are needed for a bank loan.

3.That the applicant will produce them again whenever directed.

PRAYER:

It is, therefore, respectfully prayed that the original documents listed above may kindly be returned to the applicant after retaining attested copies on the file.

Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court deems fit may also be granted in the interest of justice.

Papers to bring

The main case: its number and year, the court, the names of the parties and the next date
A list of the originals you produced, with their exhibit marks or the date they were filed
A photocopy of each, to be attested and kept on the file in place of the original
Your identity proof: the person who collects the originals signs a receipt for them

Where to go

Filed through your advocate in the court that has the file (for a decided case, the file is called from the record room); once the court allows it, you or your advocate sign for the originals.

Fee

Court fee and welfare stamps, where needed, are put on as the court office directs; ask the counter for today's amounts. The advocate's fee is separate.

Good to know

Exhibited documents are usually returned only after the time for appeal has passed or the appeal is decided, unless a certified copy is put in their place.
Keep the originals safe: the court can ask you to produce them again.
