- Identity proof of the parent and of the daughter (photocopies)
- The daughter's birth certificate

- The scholarship's or scheme's own affidavit format, if it gives one
- The daughter's admission proof or mark sheet, as the scheme asks
Where to go
Sworn before a Notary or Oath Commissioner, or before the officer the scheme names (some scholarships ask for an Executive Magistrate or a First Class Judicial Magistrate), then uploaded or given with the application.
Fee
Use the stamp paper the scheme asks for; the e-Stamp paper and the attestation fee are paid at the counter. Ask for today's amounts.
Good to know
- "Single girl child" usually means the only child of the parents, with no brother or sister; check the scheme's own definition.
- A benefit received on a false statement is liable to be recovered, as the affidavit says.

Haryana: use e-stamp paper (egrashry / authorised vendors; check the current duty) and swear before an Oath Commissioner or Notary.
