Good to know
- Make this paper twice: one affidavit by the bride and one by the groom.
- On the wedding date the groom must have been at least 21 and the bride at least 18.
- A divorced person may marry again only once the decree is final: no appeal lies, the time for appeal has passed, or the appeal has been dismissed (Hindu Marriage Act, section 15).
Papers and fees can change. Check with the office before you go. Guidance only, not yet reviewed by a lawyer.
