APPLICATION FOR EXEMPTION FROM PERSONAL APPEARANCE

Respectfully Showeth:

1.That the above case is fixed for 20-10-2026, on which date the applicant is required to appear in person.

2.That the applicant cannot appear in person on that date because he has to attend his daughter's wedding at Jalandhar.

3.That the applicant's counsel will appear and the proceedings will not be delayed; the applicant undertakes not to dispute identity and to appear whenever directed.

PRAYER:

It is, therefore, respectfully prayed that the applicant may kindly be exempted from personal appearance for 20-10-2026, and be allowed to appear through counsel.

Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court deems fit may also be granted in the interest of justice.

Good to know

The court may refuse: ask your advocate the result the same day. In a criminal case, absence without exemption can lead to a warrant.
On some dates, such as your own statement or an identification, the court usually wants you in person; come whenever it directs.
