1.That I am a member of the family of Asha Rani.
2.That I have no objection to the transfer of the electricity connection of House No. 12 in her name, and I shall not raise any objection or claim about it in future.
3.That I am making this affidavit of my own free will, without any pressure.

DEPONENT
What to bring
Papers to bring
- Aadhaar card or another photo identity proof (photocopy; the original to show)
- Proof of your relationship with the person you give the consent to
- A copy of the paper the consent is about, with its number: the jamabandi, deed, bill, account or application
- Two recent passport-size photographs, if the office asks for them
Where to go
Sworn before an Oath Commissioner or Notary, then given with the main application to the office, tehsil or bank that makes the transfer or change.
Fee
The e-Stamp paper and the Oath Commissioner's or Notary's fee are paid at the counter; ask there for today's amounts.
Good to know
- Describe the matter exactly, with the property, account or connection number: offices refuse a vague consent.
- Each family member whose consent is needed usually gives a separate affidavit, unless the office takes a joint one.
- A no-objection does not give away your share of a property: that needs a registered release (relinquishment) deed, which the app has.
Papers and fees can change. Check with the office before you go. Guidance only, not yet reviewed by a lawyer.
Stamp paper
Punjab: affidavits are usually typed on e-stamp paper (buy it at an authorised e-stamp centre; check the current duty there) and sworn before an Oath Commissioner or Notary. Many state services now accept a self-declaration instead.
Haryana: use e-stamp paper (egrashry / authorised vendors; check the current duty) and swear before an Oath Commissioner or Notary.
Chandigarh: e-stamp paper from an authorised centre (check the current duty); sworn before an Oath Commissioner or Notary.
