Respectfully Showeth:
1.That Meera Sharma, House No. 7, Basant Vihar, Amarnagar is a necessary or proper party to the above case because the defendant has sold half the premises to her during the suit.
2.That without this party the questions in the case cannot be completely and effectually decided.
PRAYER:
It is, therefore, respectfully prayed that Meera Sharma, House No. 7, Basant Vihar, Amarnagar may kindly be impleaded as a defendant No. 2 in the above case, and the amended memo of parties be taken on record.
Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court deems fit may also be granted in the interest of justice.

Where to go
Filed through your advocate in the court where the case is pending; if allowed, the amended memo of parties is taken on record and the court sends notice or summons to the new party.
Fee
Court fee and welfare stamps, where needed, and the process fee (talbana) for each notice or summons, as the court office directs; ask the counter for today's amounts. The advocate's fee is separate.
Good to know
- For a person added as a defendant, the suit usually counts as filed only from the date of adding, so delay can put the claim against them out of time (s.21 Limitation Act).
- If a party has died, use "Application to bring legal representatives on record (O.22 R.3/4 CPC)" instead.
